Chris Pirillo on Why Android Tablets Can’t Beat the iPad

On his blog, Chris Pirillo recently responded to a reader seeking his advice about purchasing a tablet device. Should he go with a first generation iPad or an Android device? In the post, Pirillo explains four reasons Android can't beat the iPad:

Reason 1: Splintered experiences
Reason 2: Current pricing models
Reason 3: Too many choices
Reason 4: Flash is becoming increasingly irrelevant

With irrational fanboys on each side of this debate, I respect Pirillo's opinion and evaluation. Read the entire post HERE.

What do you think about his advice?  Agree or disagree?

Apple is fighting two wars and losing both.

It's losing in the fight for market share. With Android shipping on a myriad of phones and Apple's growth limited to its own devices, Google seems destined to win the numbers game.

By providing more fertile ground for developers, meanwhile, Google is winning the hearts and minds of app makers. Google's mastery of the mobile space appears imminent.
